makes sense...so what does it mean when there are three asterisks in that column (***) rather than a date. The majority of my apps have a date in that column except for a couple...nyu and upenn if i remember correctly...
what would u make of that?
Quick question for those who have already submitted apps...
if u check the status of the apps under account status / electronic apps...there is a table that contains all of the info pertaining to individual submitted applications.
does anyone know what the "paper copy" column in the table means? Is that the date a paper copy was sent to the school (i really have no clue).
come on guys...I hope you’re kidding...stuff like this really makes me sick...it is lying unless you have some basis for your claims...and if the moral argument is not enough, then I guess being rejected for admission to the bar (they do an extensive background investigation) after law school may convince you of the stupidity of posts like this...this has nothing to do with affirmative action...
I'm pretty new to this board and just skim over posts every once in a while. I wanted some feedback from people about choosing between schools. I realize that a choice between schools such as UCLA and USC would be arbitrary in the long run, but how about between USC and a higher ranked school such as Georgetown, Cornell, or even Penn? I intend to work in SoCal after law school so I was wondering what people would do in this situation. Do prestige and rankings really matter that much?
i really have no idea what to expect when applying to law schools this year. i was wondering if u guys could give me a good idea as to where i should be looking at? i am an african american male with a 3.8 from top private university (HYPS) and a 166 on the LSAT (pretty disappointed as I was scoring in the low 170s by the end of my practice). Normal EC's, good recs (I'm assuming), etc... What are realistic choices for me? My top choice would be either UPenn or Columbia (is that realistic?).
