thats cool that u didnt get screwed bc u were from hawaii..
i know that NY and NH share a database with each other...so if the ticket goes trough i'll defin pay for it in ny also.
i dont know how its gonna work though because in NH it's 3 points for goin over the limit by 23 mph...but in NY it's 6 points.
i guess that could be my best defense...just try the whole pity and remorse angle. it happened a little north of nashua...right by exit 10. A place called Sutton.
I've been reading up on the subject and it seems like every site has their own way of going about this situation.
It was my first ticket...22 years old and not really a big driver. I just had to drive my sister to a residency interview and I passed a car and i got nailed.
The biggest situation is that I don't want insurance to find out about this whcih means that I really really need to get this ticket dismissed.
new hampshire cops suck.
i talked to a lawyer in new hampshire and he was pretty nice...gave me free advice and all.
he told me to try and get in contact with the officer and ask to file the ticket...put it in limbo basically for the next year while i take a AAA driving course or something...and send him the certification from it...and then if i dont get any more tickets ill be good.
but he also said the chances of his actually agreeing are almost slim to none.
go skins...i have a question...pleading guilty just means you send in the money pretty much and you don't really have a chance to plead your case. i think the only way to get your side told is by pleading not guilty...maybe i'm wrong or missed something on the ticket.
the lawyer also said i could hire him for $500.
the biggest concern right now is points...because six points in NY is a shitload.
well thats good...looks nice though.
i just want to also say this about New Hampshire police officers...they aren't nice. During the process of the ticket distribution process...my battery died and the cop didn't give me a jump...he made me use AAA instead. he made my sister late for a residency recruiting dinner.
