I've never heard any mention on NBA TV or ESPN of Kobe for MVP...The problem the spurs and the mavs have is that one way or the other, they are gonna have to play in the second round more than likely. And the mavs beat the pistons by almost 40 and the spurs by over 20...there's gonna be some amazing bball come May
just bc i am a huge suns fan...and because it is probably true...i have to throw in a variable in this May discussion...and that is Amare if he decides to come back this season. i think the suns can handle the spurs, especially with amare...duncans foot trouble defin helps.
from the sound of it...it seems like the pistons are defin taking the east..
i am saying that the system they are in allows them to excel...it plays to their strenghts like no other can...which is what makes the team so good...not the individual talents...but how those talents combine to create a great team.
As good as the Pistons are, I still feel that a healthy Spurs team can give them a good run in a 7-game series.
gotta agree with u...but cant see that happenin this year with duncans foot and now manus ankle.
not sure if i agree with the whole five all star thing...prince hamilton and billups are questionable...i think its more the system they have up there than their individual all star ability.
Very true....individual accomplishment is one thing...team performance is another...and individual accomplishment while propelling your team to great heights are what should make the MVP.
As I've been saying, with the team the lakers have now..they aren't going anywhere.
And even though I hate them...nobody can hold a candle to the pistons right now.
