According to apartmentratings.com every complex everywhere is horrible . They all do seem overpriced, several hundred dollars more than what you find on craigslist.

Anesthesiologist. They get paid huge sums of money for putting people to sleep. Lots of prestige, excellent job security, very high pay level, rewarding profession etc. I just don't have the commitment/ability for med school. So its law school and hopefully biglaw for me.

My point was that a real SS number would not help you get an immigration document. I assume the only place an illegal would need a number would be employment.

I wouldn't worry about illegal immigrants. They don't need real SS numbers. The social security administration is currently honoring fake numbers much to the delight of counterfitters. Why bother to steal someones number when you can just make yourself a card with any number. A real number isn't even that useful for immigration as homeland security and the state department use totally different numbers for documents.

My undergrad was horrible about protecting social security numbers. Not only does everyone have to constantly write them down for everything many student and temporary workers had access to the schools information databases containing huge amounts of personal information including DOBs, SS numbers and other biographical information.
