i too was an instrumental music major (clarinet)...
a music major is by no means easy, gievn the hours and hours of practice that go into being a serious musician.

yeah we could have defiantly chosen an easier major.  Music Ed. was fun but a lot of work, I donít think most people understand thatÖ.but I think LSís do.

Good luck to ya!

I wonder how many people actually do. I am sure someone has studied it, but have not come across it. My hunch would be that not many do, but instead simply utilized the fact they had a degree in general.

I agree, if i had not actually taken a job in-field then i would have never thought twice about it.

I just spent four years working toward my education degree (instrumental music)so to make a little money before the big 1L I took a job as the band director at a high school and I am having a blast!

The kids are great and I have never made so much money!  But more than that there is a real sense of satisfaction in actually doing what I studied for so long.

So the question is, does anybody else have a sense of loss at not following their undergraduate degree into the workplace?

congrats on the free ride Kristen14!

I'm from Dothan, AL (2 hrs south of Montgomery)

The only bad thing i have found about Samford is the cost of living in the area around the school, it is waaayy to high.

Congratulations!
I have withdrawn from all schools except Samford and Ole Miss.  I would rather go to Samford but they have given me NO money!  (by the way how did you get a full ride at Samford and get dinged from Ole Miss and i get into Ole Miss but don't get a dime from Samford?)

If Samford will give me money then I will go there...i sent them a letter and told them that as well...so i can hope!

maybe i'll see you there!  :)

Terri's body is functioning properly...she does not need a machine to live.  She just needs food, like the rest of us.

a feeding tube is not considered life support.

Given that this was honkey's first and only post, it seems possible that the girl on the tape is honkey and she is looking for some attention.

As for viewing the file i also assumed that it was news related and thus i still don't understand the title of this thread.  ???
