Current Law Students / Re: done with first exam, feel severely crappy
« on: January 25, 2008, 05:48:36 PM »
After I walked out of my first exam, I felt sick to my stomach.  It was worse than I ever anticipated and unlike anything I came to expect from the professor.  I thought for sure I was getting a C related grade.  I couldn't believe it when my grade came up and it was an A-.  I was relieved, to say the least.

Transferring / Transfering options from 50-60 school...
« on: January 25, 2008, 05:04:54 PM »
So I have all my grades from the first semester and I think I'm top 15% in a T50-60 school.  Honestly, I like the school, love the people, love the area, so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I graduated from here.  However, if I was looking to transfer, which is something I am doing, what are my options?  Is T14 possible?

Yeah, Lexis is much more generous with their points than WestLaw.  But whatever, it's free stuff (someday).

Current Law Students / Re: 1L - Favorite and Least favorite Class?
« on: September 23, 2007, 04:32:33 PM »
Favorite: Criminal Law - the professor is FUN and FUNNY and I feel the material is easier to... classify? lol
LEAST FAVORITE (aka not favorite at all): Constitutional Law - the professor is nice, but I hate that class.

Oh yeah, I meant transfering to a different school.

And if I can transfer, will that have to be for PT program at the new school or could I go into a FT program?

Could someone help me out with this.

How does being a PT student the first year (semester) affect the possible transfer-up?  Is it possible at all to transfer for someone in that position?

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: Brooklyn Waitlist, Anyone?
« on: April 07, 2007, 06:49:11 PM »
I got an offer from BLS to either accept their PT offer or get (remain?) waitlisted.  I was told if they need to take people off WL during the summer, people who accepted PT programs will get a chance first, so I hope it's true.  I really like the school, at least what I saw, but if I get off the waitlists for FT at say WF or AU, I'd probably take it.

I have 5.5 lol.

Five, plus one where I can either take PT or remain on the WL.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Making a commitment, question
« on: March 28, 2007, 06:13:45 PM »
Oh really?

So basically you'll just lose the deposit, but it's not really a big deal to not going to that school after making a commitment?

This really is about Brooklyn PT offers, so if anyobody knows anything about that specificaly, any help would be appreciated.
