Denials / Re: Stetson

I'm not too concerned about it. These schools are looking for the best applicants they can get. If Stetson received alot of people with very high numbers and accepted them while rejecting others, I can't blame them. They are just trying to become more selective like every other school. In the end, it may bring up their ranking...however, it will take alot of work for Stetson to be have the recognition that the three larger schools in Florida have.

Yea, I had split LSAT scores so that's probably what did it. It just kinda bothers me that schools wait this long until they notify people.

Just when I was about to forget that I was on Stetson's waitlist, I got their rejection letter.

Oh well, I've decided on FSU so it doesn't matter.

Last day here too!

Everyone is asking if I'll miss them....I'm just lying and saying yea.

4 more days of work to go here. Then a trip up to Tallahassee to find a place to live.

I'm not sure if this will help your decision or not, but I was just looking through the FSU website, it looks like the curve is for a B, not a C. Check the link below:

Hm...that's wierd. I know they received my deposit a few months ago. Maybe they are just reaching out to those people they haven't heard from in a while.

Although I have already been accepted to FSU, I got a call from them yesterday asking if I was still planning on attending.

I don't know if I am alone in this, but maybe they are calling everyone in order to figure out just how many of you guys they have open spots for.

I received my notice not too long after I was accepted. Are you sure that you mentioned FSU as one of the schools to send your FAFSA report to? If so, why not just call the FinAid office to see if they have your info.

Additionally, it couldn't hurt to print the forms and send them in. When I spoke to the law school a few months back they said that they would send them out. They might have changed their plans since then.

BTW, if you are sure that you aren't going to be attending UM, please let them know. I'm still on a waitlist there and, after talking to the Dir. of Admissions, it sounds like they need a few more people to drop before they start taking people from that list.

I hope everything works out.

Eh, I just kill time surfing between this page and myspace. After about 97 visits to each page, the day is over.
