Choosing the Right Law School / Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ole Miss
« on: March 14, 2005, 11:59:44 AM »
Hey everybody, I need some feedback about these schools.   Particularly:
1)the social life there
2)the job prospects (only regional or boardering states?)
3)what does everyone think about working in each respective state?

Any feedback about any of the above schools would be greatly appreciated, even if its something that i didnt specifically ask feedback about.   - thanks.

Hey,  Im applying to Vandi, Georgia, alabama, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tulane.   Does anyone have any info about these schools, other than the US rankings.  Anything about the social life in particular?  or the type of people that go there?   chris

Choosing the Right Law School / admission question
« on: October 28, 2004, 08:07:24 AM »
My question is, I graduated from the University of Chicago with a 3.55, and I was wondering how much graduating from a prestigious undergraduate college helps your chances for getting into law school.  Considering that an applicant from another college might have a 3.8 whereas my 3.55 was probably harder to obtain.  Any idea of how much, if any, this aspect of undergraduate work is taken into consideration?

Studying for the LSAT / clarity needed!
« on: October 07, 2004, 07:55:26 AM »
ok, so i graduated from the university of chicago with a 3.4 and i got a 158 on my Lsat.  and ill have a strong application with good recs and i participated in wrestling in college.

the schools i am thinking about applying to are iowa, u of I, northcarolina, georgia, and alabama, and possibly vanderbilt.

I was, however, on my practice tests scoring 160-167, averaging around 164.    Should i retake the test?  what chances realistically do i have of getting into those schools with my current stats?
any help on one or more of the schools listed above would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
