I don't know alot about the summer thing but I would jump on it if I could get out of Honduras in time. Right now I won't be able to leave here until the end of June.

Auburn, sorry to hear about the dings, but we are glad to have you on the bandwagon!

We need to get everyone togeather for a LSD "yippie we're at Samford" party". I should have a house by then so I'll voulenteer my place, my wife would like to meet all the folks who have been my support group for the past few months.

Right now im living in Honduras, I was living in Enterprise, AL before moving to Hondo. I like Birmingham. The cost of living isn't too bad. I plan on about a 20-30 minute drive. Thats not too bad of a drive. I'm gonna end up buying a house somewhere on the south east side.

Sarendipity, glad to have you on the bandwagon. For a bit I thought I was the only one who would be starting Samford in the fall.

I didn't get a full ride, I think Kristen14 did. I was refering to her.

You can't beat a free ride. It would be hard to turn down.

Ole Miss does have some hot women. My wife knows that, hmmmmm. Maybe she called Ole Miss' and told them she was me and cussed out the dean. Yea, that must be the reason I didn't get in. That and my 2.6ffuucckknn7.  ;D

Samford, and pretty happy with it.

It's ironic that Samford was the first school I heard from back in Jan and it took me all this time to make a decision.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / It's final, I'm headed to Samford

Ole' Miss gave me the Ding today, so it looks like my decision is finalized. Samford here I come. I can't say that I'm unhappy with Samford, just disappointed about Ole' Miss.

I've heard nothing but good stuff about Samford and it's location, so hopefully I'll run into a few of ya'll over there.

Ya'll take care,

Law School Rankings / Re: What schools are underrated by US News?

I've lived in the south-east for about the past 15 years, Samford gets as much respect as Mercer does. Samford also has a huge alum base. For the life of me I can't figure out why Mercer made it to T2 and Samford hasn't. I went to Mercer undergrad and interned at the law school. It was ok, but from what I've seen Samford is in a better location and has a much nicer campus. Samford LSAT and GPA medians are a tad lower than Mercer's. That's the only thing I can think of that is keeping it out of T2.
