Got the letter today asking if I wanted to be placed on the waitlist. I've already sent a deposit to Samford, but decided to get on the list anyway. I would consider moving if they gave me enough time to react.

Ole' Miss gave me the Ding today, so it looks like my decision is finalized. Samford here I come. I can't say that I'm unhappy with Samford, just disappointed about Ole' Miss.
I've heard nothing but good stuff about Samford and it's location, so hopefully I'll run into a few of ya'll over there.
Ya'll take care,

I saw this at JD2B and thought it was pretty interesting.
I like that profs. made comments on what they were looking for and what kind of questions they like to use.
I know that SMU really doesn't want me. Yesterday I got two dings from them, postmarked the same day. I mean hey, I get the message after the first letter WTF??. They must have thought that my LOW GPA was a good enough reason to send a second letter to ensure I wouldn't be showing up in the Fall.
I am considering of sending a letter of intent to my top choice. Do any of you have a few good examples of the format. Also do you state that you will withdraw other apps? And if so, do they just take your word on it or do you need to send them some sort of proof?
Any smart kid help would be great.
I just called my wife from Honduras and she gave me the good news. I wish I could have gotten it in person but at least I know I'm going to law school!!
Hopefully Texas Tech will show some love soon.
Note to others, Samford must like military, because my numbers aren't great.
