Can a dry kid from Northern Virginia get in on the action?  Not positive I'm coming yet, though... have to decide between GDub and Chicago.

Lizo,

I like the letter.  I say well done.  Let us know the status--if/when you submit it and when/what you hear back from them... Good luck!

Yep. That's it.  I'm also from the DC area and prefer DC to Chicago for living expenses and just plain location.  Might want to go into IP/patent-related policy as well...

Absolute.

I may regret putting this on my unreads...

sordomudo, hablas espanol?

Como no. Vivi en Mexico por dos "years" (avoiding fodder for trolls) mientras servi una mision para mi iglesia.  De hecho, platique en espanol con una senora durante una cena en las actividades de GW el jueves.

Double ditto on the history lesson. I really enjoyed hearing the history, actually, but I don't see its importance/relevance in the situation.  And did anyone else attend the Contracts class at 11 am (Groups 15-20 I think) and notice that the professor would make small side jokes that merited perhaps a smile or smirk--and then the class would ERUPT in laughter?  Are they just that dull?  Am I going to turn into that? :O

I can't remember the term for getting this on my unreads list... but I went, too.  Might post my perspective later.

I'm also hoping to be able to barter at least a bit, letting Chicago know that I've been offered significant money from GW, UVa, and Duke.  Hopefully doing it in person next weekend will be the best route.  I'm kind of concerned about coming off the right way, though.  Maybe calling would be best?  In any event, Jeff, I would definitely just be up front and honest to see what they can offer you.
