Studying for the LSAT / Re: Post Mortem - Feb 06 Logic Games
« on: February 04, 2006, 02:57:22 PM »
Does anyone remember if any of the answers to games 2 or 3 were D.  The reason I asked is because that's what I answered for every single one of those, except one that I answered by matching the rules with the list of answers.

I would like to respectfully disagree on the part that was stated in the cakewalk passage.  It was not the elements of African dance that stayed in.  I almost answered that one till I read it more carefully.  It was actually talking about African elements that WEREN'T in the dance.  It was a different answer, I'm just having a hard time remembering which.

Number 3 on master list should be something about giving an example of how internet communication may cross through different mediums or boundaries?  Such as from japan to canada through france...and what sort of rights france has to look at that info?

i'm going to wait to see how many we get before i mess around with the order... too much work  :D

haha i hear ya, but I meant I think that's the answer to number 3.  :)

I'm pretty sure the answer to that had something to do with traffic going through intermediate countries or something to that effect.

I took the December LSAT a few days ago and I can definitely say it was MUCH easier for me.  I scored a 167 on that thing.  I'll be lucky if I get a 157 on this one.

One of them was definitely overt skepticism.  Another was outright dismissal.

Ok, that was really bad.  I'll be so lucky if I even got a 156 on this thing.  I totally bombed the logic games portion.  I think I might have gotten half right.  Maybe more if several of the answers to games 2 and 3 were D.  Logical reasoning wasn't so bad for me except for one of the sections I had to guess on the last 2 because I was running out of time.  The reading comprehension was not the hardest, but it wasn't exactly easy either.  I honestly can't say how badly I did, but I'm certain the score will not be above a 158 and I seriously doubt it will even be that high.  I have only one thing to say about this... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Studying for the LSAT / Results of my last practice LSAT...

Well, I just got done taking the December 2005 LSAT and I got a 167 on it.  That's unheard of for me, completely out of my average.  My average has been around 158, but I got a 161 on the October LSAT and a 167 on the December.  That's rather interesting.  I wonder what kind of pleasant or unpleasant surprises I might find on the LSAT Saturday.

Studying for the LSAT / New personal record score on a practice LSAT...

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I scored a 161 on the October 2005 practice LSAT.  That's the highest score I've ever gotten on a practice before and it's on the hardest scale ever.  I'm feeling really good right now.

Anyone else out there having pre-test anxiety?  My nerves are totally shot.  I'm afraid that all that practicing will do no good and that I will freak out and go blank during the test from a panic attack.  I'm probably going to take a Valium that day just to be on the safe side.  Haven't had to take one of those for months though.  It kinda sucks.

Studying for the LSAT / Every question on a passage wrong???
« on: January 22, 2006, 01:04:26 PM »
I just got done taking the June 2005 practice LSAT and I got 8 wrong on the RC section alone.  Every single question I answered about the last passage was wrong, but I read that damn thing through twice!  Still, despite reading it through twice, I could not follow it because it was so damn convoluted.  I'm about to give up hope completely here and just say screw it, stop studying, take the damn thing, and let the chips fall where they may.  It's obvious studying for this has not done me one bit of good if the best I can do now is a 154, when the first test I took, I got a 158 on.  ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!
