General Board / The battle against everything I have been taught

I was trying to start my contracts outline, and I was working with someone else's outline from last year.  I was trying to copy and paste etc.  It seems like everything that I would want in the outline is already there and well organized!  How many of you have just studied and done lots of hypos off of someone else's outline and done well in class?  It is really tempting just to use the one I already have while throwing in points that I find important.

I am looking to start a new website for outlines and case briefs.  It is going to be a lot better than the ones that are out there.  I am looking to see if anyone would like to help.  Maybe other 1L's like me would like to help and we can collaborate on briefs and outlines and then release the site (make it public) at the end of the semester.  Let me know if you are at all interested.

Has anyone ever changed their last name while in law school?  If so, how much of a hassle was it?  I am thinking about changing mine because I hate it, but maybe it is the same process with someone who is getting married.

I was curious how many people are paying for law school entirely through federal loans like me.  How common is this in law school?

Our torts class goes really fast, and the teacher basically skips over cases without reviewing the material.  Have any of you had a class like this?  What do you do to compensate?  Is it worth briefing the cases thoroughly, or should I be working in E+E and other out of class materials for torts?

I have heard from others, and from looking at our law review members, that older students and married students tend to do better in law school.  Is this true in your experience?  If so, why do you think this is?

We just had a drunk debate over this.

In Colorado.  If you are riding your bike down the road and an officer suspects you are BUI, can he demand an identification?  What happens if you don't provide it? Different than car?

So I don't have to later.  I am going to start at the end of this week I think.  btw, I am calm.  I am just trying to make the best use of my time so I don't have to work as hard around finals.
