Any on this board going to NYLS?

If so have you started studying, I've already read the Aspen Primer on Tort law and it has enabled me to make a pretty in depth outline for the course including most of the Black Letter Law on the subject.

Just recieved my advanced week reading assignment seems pretty straight forward.

Please respond if you are starting NYLS in august.

Thank you.

Good Afternoon:

Is anyone on this board going to attend NYLS?

Also has anyone started studying yet?

I've already learned a great deal in regards to Black Letter Law for Torts, anyone want to buy my E&E primers?

Also has anyone started making outlines?

Thank you.

Where should I go next fall? / NYC Rules
« on: May 20, 2005, 05:07:08 PM »
This is a conclusion I arrived at after going to visit U. Miami Southeastern and St. Thomas.  I got a full ride at St. Thomas and accepted to U. Miami and Southeastern.

The pace of life there is too slow.  Even to get your change or be involved in any type of business transaction.  NYC rules i have been cursing this city out for years but you dont really realize how much business and energy is involved here until you go to another state or city.  I also got accepted to U. San Diego Pepperdine and Loyola.  Unfortuately I only applyed to New York Law / Brooklyn College and Hofstra here in NYC.

In at New York Law and i plan on going there regardless of the price.  NYC RULES.

Wish i took the lsat earlier i should have been able to get into fordham though my gpa is rather weak comparitively.

Anyone else going to New York Law.

LSAT = 163 feb 05 only time taking it
GPA 3.33
NYU CAS double major (poli sci / philosophy)

General Off-Topic Board / Lindsey Lohan is hot
« on: April 28, 2005, 01:35:08 PM »
This maybe just slightly off the topic of law school admissions, but after seeing her just now on tv while reading posts on admissions I believe I can get away with this post.

Applying late is a big mistake but regardless, go to any school get A's and meet professors and attorneys in the area of your school.  Law school, as was the case with our undergraduate studies, is not going to give you the experience or the ability to be a good attorney.  That is something that you can get via experience and intrinsic abilities.

I'm going for a nice relaxing ride on my enduro bike.

In conclusion, Lindsey Lohan is hot.

Where should I go next fall? / Anyone hear from PEPPERDINE?
« on: April 27, 2005, 05:39:31 PM »
Has anyone heard from Pepperdine?

I applied there just prior to the deadline on March 1st, having taken my LSAT in FEB. I am curious to know whether or not they send out their accepted/rejected letters all at the same time.

LSAT=163
GPA=3.39 NYU CAS.

Thank you.

163...its been a pleasure talking to all of you...wanted to get in the 170s but its not worth it....my advice to everyone...just take the damn test, dont take it too seriously..dont get nervous...just be cool and get on with your life...its just the first step in your career...even if you got in the low 150s take your score and move on.

Bye everyone...already applied to U.Miami, Forham, Loyola, Pepperdine see you at one of those schools in the fall.

Studying for the LSAT / Cancelling...see all you bastards in June
« on: December 04, 2004, 07:48:44 PM »
Ok i've been getting in the mid 160's on practice tests.

I don't anticipate getting higher then 155 on this test.

Not necessarily because it was difficult....the AR section was on the easy side...

LR seemed a bit different but definately managable.

I royally screwed up the RC section the one that was not experimental.

It was my first section and I was tired as hell, got up at 5 to make it to the test center and our test started at about 9.

This unfortunately doesnt fit with my head which starts working well at about 10.

I didn't start really flowing until the 3rd section which was RC for me and unfortunately experimental.

Kicked a** on the 4th section LR with maybe 1x and the games section with maybe 4x.

This test is annoying and I wouldn't recommend just going in there with the thought process similar to mine which was "I'm Johnny Genius I'll ace this test with little to no preparation"

See you in June.

Getting Drunk and going back to work on Monday.
