Is economic pressure a cause of action for false imprisonment?
"If you walk out that door, consider yourself fired."
Assume there are no other facts that make it clearly FI (the door is open, person is not restrained, victim is not intimidated, etc).

My crim law prof basically ran out of time this semester and attempted to cram attempt, complicity, and conspiracy into about 2 days. Needless to say, I'm still sorting all of it out.
Does anyone have any suggestions/notes/outlines/whatever that I could use to clear this quagmire up?
I'd be deeply appreciative.
I just need the MPC by the way, no common law.

Does anyone know where I could find practice multiple choice problems for torts?
In effort to prep us for the multi-state bar, our entire torts final is mult. choice and I'd like to get some practice under my belt before game-time.

What a great song.
I was curious if the 2L/3Ls out there had any final exam prep advice to offer to the wet behind the ears 1Ls.
I came out pretty strong from midterms but think preparing for finals in a whole different ball game.
I'd love to hear any dos/don'ts/etc.

My torts prof has made our two week dance with defamation an unintelligible clusterfu*k.
Anyone out there willing to share an outline, their notes, etc on this?
I'd be in your debt on this one.
Feel free to PM me or whatever.

Would a judicial internship be best suited for the 1L or 2L summer?
I've got a nice connection to a state appellate court judge's chambers and was debating if I wanted to burn that favor for this summer or if I should hold off...
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What exactly do judicial summer interns do?
I may have an oppurtunity for that sort of work this summer and I just realized that I don't actually know what it entails.

I'm rooting around for a better torts supplement than I presently have (E&E) and was curious if people had any recommendations.
E&E is great but does not go into each tort in detail (e.g., assault and battery are the only int. torts he goes into) and I'd like something that gives me a specific chapter to a specific tort (like every other E&E...)

This might have been brought up before (don't know if I saw it here or the prelaw board) but has anyone spent time playing with the CALI Lessons? There seems to be a wealth of information in them but the time commitment to throughly sift might be better spent doing other things.
Common sense would lead me to think that doing every topic from every subject would be a waste but worthwile on the harder topics of some of your classes.
For those who have gone through them, is the oppurtunity cost worth it?

I was curious if anyone out there had success transfering into U of I or knows anyone who has.
Feel free to PM me or post it up.
