i just took testmasters weekend.
i thought it was really demanding but it really helped by just reviewing all the concepts and i got a lot of little tips. 22

I just took a full-length test and I got a 22/23 on the games. It has somehow become my easiest section.
 I have no idea what happened. I used to ace all my other sections and do horribly on the games. Now I get near perfect on the games, but consistently miss 6-7 on every other section. I ended up getting a 163 right now, which is my best score ever. It's a shame I had to get a 22/23 on the games to achieve this score though.

Games just randomly "clicked" with me last Friday. I was consistently getting 12-14/23 on every games section and last Friday, I got an 18/23 and after this weekend's Testmaster course, I am confident I can get 20 +.
I don't really know why. I guess they just seem easy to me now. I think it's pretty much all the setup and the rules. Also, I learned some helpful tips that I wasn't really aware of before like the: A <---|---> B 26
Studying for the LSAT / Re: who's getting nervous?« on: November 11, 2005, 08:35:43 PM »"active reading" is the key for rc (asking yourself why the author is telling you a certain thing, where a new fact may lead, why is the topic at hand important to you, how does it affect you,) and if you read slowly gaily i think that will be of more help than harm, but then that's just me.....i had to learn to slow down Hey, I think you might be over-analyzing problems sometimes. I kind of have your problem and what really helps me is if I go into the questions really confident and like totally sure of everything I answer. Don't stress too much about it - just put the answer and move on. That's just how I approach it... 28

No, it doesn't.
The only thing that helps me is going over the problems I did wrong with the tests that have explanations on each answer. I often mistake something in a diagram or don't think of a possible deduction and that's usually what gets me. I just keep going over what I did wrong and try improving that way. That, and I've pretty much accepted games as my weak point and try to just nail as many as I can. 30

This is how I'm trying to look at it:
Most of the work is preparing for the test. If I put in the time and effort now, I will have done the best I could. On the test, I plan to come in fresh and just do the best I can. Also, I'm happy with where I am scoring right now on my avgs. I am getting anywhere in between 157-162 and that is exactly the score I need for my top choice. So barring a disaster, I should be fine right?? Plus, I will be so happy once this whole process is done in 3 weeks.
