I got an email today from Univ. San Francisco telling me that i am in and there is a letter on the way. Oh boy, Oh boy! If they give me money, i will take them over Santa Clara. I can't believe this! Now i'm in at 5 schools with 3 still pending. only 2 rejections so far. Lets hope this keeps up.
If anyone has info on USF and/or has visited them, can you tell me how you like the facilities and students.

Congrats on your admit. When you recieved your acceptance letter, was there scholarship/grant/fin aid information, or did that come later in a separate letter? If so, how much later did it come? I got mine today, but it was conspicuously devoid of helpful info on fin aid.
Any info you could give would be greatly appreciated.

So now it is down to four remaining schools that i am waiting on. Howard was previously very high on my list, but then it dropped down for some reason. I was upset because there was no fin aid info with my letter. Can anyone that has been admitted tell me if the fin aid info comes later in a separate letter, or does this mean that i am up the creek without a paddle?
Also, if anyone has visited and/or gone to an admitted students day, i would like to hear all about it. I will do a search, but it would just be good to have it here.
Applied late Feb.
took long to get complete.

I'm waiting on Temple, U San Fran, Howard, Syracuse, and Rutgers-New. This waiting is getting tired. Does anyone know what the latest seat deposit dates are, or is it now on a one by one basis per student?

If there is anyone who went to todays SCU law preview day, i would like to hear your impressions of the school, faculty, et cetera. I am stuck in NYC, so i was not able to get out there.

Hey guys. When schools send you scholarship information in your admittance letter, is it usually a total amount for 3 years, or just the amount for one year (possibly renewable)? I got my letter and one sentence said "You are being awarded an Law Faculty Scholarship in the amount of X0000." At first i went to the website and it said that these were renewable, so wouldn't they say the yearly amount and then say "renewable" in the letter? I am so confused and worried. I sent an email to the dean at the fin aid office, but she probably won't get it till monday, and then it will be too late to sand in my deposit to another school. AHHHHHHHHH!
OK, you will probably ask anyway, the school is Santa Clara. If anyone has any info on this, please let me know. My head is starting to hurt.

Sup ppl. I hav been thinkning long and hard about my current choices of schools, and while i really like Villanova and the idea of being close to home (NYC), I think i am going to take the money @ Santa Clara and run with it. Just thought i would let you guys know, as i know many of you are waiting to get off the waitlist there/hear any decision in general.

Hey ppl. I know that Santa Clara has a very good program in IP/Tech law, but what if i don't have any background in science and don't necessarily want to go into that field? Does that mean i will be screwed when it comes time for job hunting? If there are any ppl here who are thinking about Santa Clara but NOT about IP law, please let me know your thoughts on this. Anyone else can chime in too.
With that said, if SCU is really geared towards IP law and not much else, would i be better off taking no money at Villanova over money at Santa Clara? I thought i had my decision made two days ago, but now all this stuff is popping up into my head. THIS IS MADDENING!!!!

So as many of u know, i am looking at Santa Clara as my best option now. This is just a straight forward question: What do i have to know about the great state of Claifornia (i already know who the Governor is)? I'm from NYC. I there is anyone whos lived in both places (nyc & San Francisco/Sanjose), let me know what your thoughts are.

I just got my acceptance to villanova, but there was no scholarship money in the letter. Is this normal? Did all of you out there get a separate letter with scholarship/aid info? I hope so, cause nova's great in my opinion, and i'd really consider them if they gave me some money.
