« on: December 03, 2004, 06:12:14 PM »
Why do they have a banner up on the law school discussion website for a med school on Grenada. Is this also the school where Marines had to rescue students from Marxist forces back in like 83?

Choosing the Right Law School / Know much about Nashville and Vandy?
« on: November 03, 2004, 06:17:18 PM »
I'm an asian male who has grown up in so cal my whole life. Politically moderate metrosexual who has never been to middle south.

Everyone ive talked to, those who go to Vandy and many who have never been, have said either "Oh Nashville is soooo nice and friendly, its clean and really cosmopolitan" OR "Why are you going there, i soooo don't see living you in Nashville."

I'm assuming those who have never been are basing judgment on the Southern stereotype of being either: super friendly OR super racist...

Obviously i'm going to visit, but anyone have any insight?

Choosing the Right Law School / Rep of William and Mary

Wondering if anyone has heard anything besides the obvious admissions #s regarding this school.

Looked chill enough and in my realm for me to apply. But ive been wondering if its even possible to get placement from there in CA after your graduate.

Also, anyone know much about Williamsburg? Last time i was there was when i was 12. And i learned how to make yarn from scratch, load a musket, and wear a funny hat.

Choosing the Right Law School / Best looking students
« on: October 08, 2004, 04:56:36 PM »
From what everyone saw during undergrad and by word of mouth, where do they have the best looking students?

Of course there are your hot standards like Vandy, Texas, Pepperdine, and to an extent UCLA and SC...but are there any schools in the Northeast that have good looking girls who actually shave their armpits and stay in shape?

Choosing the Right Law School / Optional Legacy Essay

When i spoke with sc, they said i could write a little addendum about my family members who went to sc. Should i actually write this out in paragraph form...or make an easy to read list?

Choosing the Right Law School / UT and the residency quota!!!
« on: September 18, 2004, 04:51:55 PM »
So honestly, what are chances of someone like me out of state getting into Texas?

I know everyone ive spoken with says that they have a state legislative quota that says they need 80% in-state admits. 2 people from my undergrad at UCLA that had like low 170s with a 3.8ish got into top 5s, but both got flat rejected from Texas. Is anyone else out there tossing their hat in the ring? And if you know something i don't...or do you just have an extra 70 bling to spare.

I say down with Texas and their ridiculously hot girls. ;D I'm petitioning to the UC Regents to deny all Texans and mess with them. :o
