There was no median posted in terms of gpa and lsat scores but I can give you the 25th and 75th percentiles (middle 50 percent) as given in the US News "Ultimate Guide to Law Schools" (2004). Here they are:
25th percentile 75th percentile
LSAT 165 170
GPA 3.55 3.81
So 25 percent(bottom 25 percent) of admitted U of Virginia Law School students scored below 165 and another 25 percent scored above 170 (top 25 percent). Same goes for GPA. Moral of the story, if you have the gpa but not the lsat recommended or vice versa, and you have a strong personal statement (essayedge.com is recommended by many on this site for personal statement assistance) and recommendations, and are a minority, you should still apply!
