those who got in off the waiting list and are not going, have you told them yet?? when did you tell them, if you did?? i'm hoping i get one of those spots so i don't have to wait any more  :)

the woman i spoke to at admissions said they will keep the wait list open til classes start... dont' know if thats true, or if they will release people before... i heard that last year around aug. they sent some release letters to people they knew they definitely weren't going to take... and if they do that, your status date will change on that online thing to check your status...

I'm not sure what I"m going to do if I don't get Hastings or USC... I"m in at Fordham with a bit of $ and am holding a seat there now, but I really want to work in CA, so I may defer a year and reapply to CA schools next year... not sure yet.

i'm 3.4/168...

the first non-refundable for $200 was may, then june something there was another $600.00 deposit.  the $600 was totally refundable until July 1.  It is refundable by half until Aug. 1.  After Aug. 1, you lost the whoel $600 plus the original $200

i am most likely giving up my seat at fordham before aug. 1.  aug. 1 is the next deadline to withdraw before i lose my deposit.  there should be movement around then.... good luck :)

you guys all found out via email? i've been obsessively waiting for the phone to ring, now I guess I have to check my email all the time too :)
Have you told them yet you are not accepting their offers?  I keep writing and telling them how interested I am, but just keep hearing that they have no idea what the chances of admission are now...

I have been sending emails pretty much weekly... not calling, because the one time I called, the staff did not seem happy to hear from me... and at this point, I"m not even getting answers to emails where I ask direct questions.  I"m getting frustrated and I don't know why they haven't contacted me yet... I am in the range for numbers, and I got into some higher ranked schools... what were the numbers like of people who got in off wait lists? are you cali residents?  thanks!
