This is an interesting thread. I just got back from Australia where I met people from all over. No one could identify my race or my nationality, not even some of the Americans I met.

Howdy,
I'm new to the discussion group (you people scare me, by the way). I'm also in the same boat with a low gpa (2.97 BSEE UT Austin, 2001) and a reasonably high lsat (167). I've been working for a few years and I'm a year into a master's in applied physics. I was hoping the graduate work and the industrial experience would offset my ugly gpa, and many people say it might/would. The question is how much. That is, to which schools would I be competative? Any advice would be great. Thanks... Rishi |
