Beautiful description! I can now say I know what "pounding sunlight" feels like I had to wear shoes and jeans for work, and I'm the type that doesn't like to wear shoes or jeans in the summer... I applied to old weather schools for a reason....

I just realized I have to fly to a wedding on Thursday and that's like 2 days away    I'm also the best man so I have to write something up 

Two days is plenty of time, if you'd said 6 hours I'd be a little more concerned

My AC broke in the jeep.  It's just pushing hot air.  I drove from Atlanta to home this weekend and it was f-ing miserable.  I can't describe how humid and stick it is.  However, it's been a mild summer.  There's been a couple of summers where it's been between 100 and 104 every day for a month.  It's barely broken 100 this year.

we've had almost ten days of 90+ degree weather (6 of them ~100) I feel your pain.
