that highlighting method would drive me absolutely insane. it seems like it would be better to put the important elements of each case into your own words anyways.

am i the only one NOT briefing?
unless i have to write a brief(for lrw or elements) i just jot down a few quick notes on the cases i read. i dont care to waste my time typing up a full brief, i just want to isolate the main legal issue that is resolved in each case. i dont see what else is going to be important for exams. is this a mistake?
most of what i listen to comes from bands like these: alice in chains, mad season, soundgarden, gnr, hendrix, temple of the dog, metallica, led zep, audioslave, black label society, rage against the machine, a perfect circle, mudvayne, social distortion, stone temple pilots.
i like afi, taking back sunday, and thursday for emo-ish *&^%, and jack johnson, dispatch, mason jennings, and john mayer(i HATE that wonderland song, but his any given thursday live cd is good stuff) for more mellow stuff. i dont listen to rap or hiphop, but ill listen to pretty much anything else.
thanks for that info!
heres my schedule:
061 - LAW011DG - CIVIL PROCEDURE I (FALL 2005)
061 - LAW013BG - ELEMENTS (FALL 2005)
061 - LAW014EG - PROPERTY (FALL 2005)
061 - LAW015G - TORTS (FALL 2005)
061 - LAW019J4 - LEGAL RES & WRIT I (FALL 2005)
ill probably show up around 8:30. im just wearing jeans, a shirt and sandals.
switching topics...is anyone else planning to take notes the old fashioned way? i cant type very fast on little laptop keyboards and without a mouse i think on the fly editing/formatting will be too clumsy, so i think im going to take notes with a pen and paper. im just second guessing this decision because it seems like EVERYONE takes notes on their laptop
im back after a long summer traveling all over europe with a friend. things have been crazy since ive been back...i dont even have a laptop or place to live yet, so im stuck living at home for 3-4 weeks until my apt is ready.
im pretty nervous/excited for school to start. i really cant believe orientation is tomorrow morning. anyways, my name is eric and heres a pic( http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a311/ericm123/4.jpg ). im the guy in the front left with the longsleeve blue shirt(we were doing vodka shots in moscow at like 11 in the morning to celebrate my 22nd bday) come introduce yourself if you see me around.
