Between the ABA policy on not working, plus the fact that it's not a smart decision academically, whats the alternative? My parents are in no position to fully take care of me so that's out the picture. Just wondering how others handled the situation. Go with federal fixed rate loans. I would not under any circumstances use a variable rate loan given the state of the economy and the inevitable rise in inflation that we will see as we come out of the recession. 23
