Jack so does that mean you ARE studying 12-16 hours per day? Serious question...just wondering.

Ks - The material is pretty interesting. My prof is good but probably my least favorite, which probably plays into me having a "meh" outlook towards it.

Property - I have the greatest prof for this class! I agree with the poster above that the super old cases were kind of annoying the first coule weeks but I definitely like this subject.

Civ Pro - I agree with everyone. Kind of a foriegn language. I feel like I am contstantly changing my mind on whether it is simple or difficult.

Crim Law - Again, I have an amazing prof for this class and the material is probably the most interesting of all the classes. Lots of very recent SCOTUS cases and it all seems very relevant. It is kind of disturbing at times reading what some of the sickos out there get locked up for though.

Thanks.  I actually went over to Fayetteville this morning to look at properties and settled on a townhouse north of campus.  Eagle and Oakland.  Decent place plus it has a 2 car garage which will help me by not having to get a storage unit...

Well forget the scooter you can walk from there, no? Well good luck!

Yep.  The S-10 and the Vespa are gonna get mighty lonely come late August....  In other news my gasoline budget on the excel spreadsheet just got reduced to zero.

That's HUGE! I work in Bentonville (For another month or so) and gas is eating my budget alive!

I found out today that Arkansas will be sending out class schedules and book list within a week...  They have been reducing class size as well with only 144 or so for this years class, 2 sections of 72.  Legal writing split into 5 sections though.

So they're sending them out before orientation? That's cool. Where did you hear all this?

Thanks!

Dean Miller gave me a personal tour of the building this morning while I was in town.  He seems like a great guy, kind of a throwback.  I really liked him alot.   Never got a chance to tour the school till now.

I agree - SUPER nice guy! What did you think of the building? They have done some really cool things to it. That's funnny I was actually thinking about heading over there this afternoon because I took a sick day at work.

I am growing impatient with OU and the waitlist and will be traveling to Fayetteville in the coming weeks to search for an apartment.
1.Any tips on places to avoid?
2. Would like to bike/scooter to class so distance is important.
3. Would like something newer vs. older.  Price is important, but I would gladly pay an extra $100 a month for something new/newer.

I know Fayetteville pretty well but I have never lived in an apartment and as such need some advice in the area.

Let me know if you still have any of these questions. I've lived here for 4-5 yrs now so I could probably help you out.

No, they're all free.  Just go to the iTunes Store through your iTunes, click on Podcasts, and browse around.  You'll find 'em.

One thing to note: the sound quality isn't that great, but if you can get past that, there's some good info.  I deliver pizzas on the weekends, so I just listen to them in my car.  I'm about 2/3rds of the way through Torts, Con Law I, and Crim Law.

Sweet thanks for the help!

It's easier to get them through the iTunes store.

Are they just a buck a piece like songs??
