Hello all...

Okay so I've been accepted to FAMU COL for this upcoming Fall and I'm trying to get some input about the school. So, with that I'm calling all entering 1L's, all current FAMU law school students, and any recent FAMU law school graduates.

I mean we've all heard about their accreditation issues, their faculty issues, and the fact that they did not have a dean. Well, some of those issues have been resolved and some are being tackled. So I'm trying to get some words from the wiser as to what I should do. I would love to hear what you have to say about the school (pros and cons). Thanks.  ;)

Hey Ready for School,

I think the advice that TRad gave you hit it right on the nose. Begin the preparation for the LSAT and start researching the schools you are interested in. LSAC will definitely butcher your UGPA so you want to stand out when it comes to the LSAT. Take some timed practice tests and see where it leads.

I'm sure ultimately things will work out for you. Follow your heart but make wise decisions. Good luck.

Hey Taisha,

It's nice to hear that you are going to go for the TAP Program. I actually sent in my deposit for the program as well. I am not 100% sure that I will be going to the program but I did not necessarily want to give up on it either. I agree with you on the fact that it's well worth the try.

So... have you heard from any other schools as yet? Did you apply anywhere else? Are you looking forward to it or what?
