Law School Discussion

I took one.

And now, as I approach the end of my 1st year, I recommend you do NOT.

Just get drunk everyday and enjoy your time before school begins.

Trust me, once you hit exams and stressful periods of 1L, you wont be like Gee I am glad I took that preview class, but instead you will be saying I should have been drunk.

Great advice (not being sarcastic)

I was thinking of doing the whole law preview thing, but the only class I can go to I think is right before I start law school. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but when I undertake something I try 110% and after a while I get burnt out (I'm still recovering after the burn out of my last endeavor). I definitely don't want to burn out too soon in law school so I'm just going to get take it easy, get some sun, and have a good time.

I suggest anyone else pulling their hair out do the same, or you'll be bald by November. Save some hair for finals guys.

Did anyone else get that email from Mizzou saying they are processing their waitlist and want to know if you are still interested in the school? I was told that I would get word from them on the 14th, unfortunately, that day slowly creaked by and still no word....

Depends on your GPA but in general I think it'd be tough since like 80% of the class has to come from in-state and Nevada applicants are generally not that strong. So they make up for that by giving lots of money to relatively high performing out-of-state candidates.

Well my GPA overall is around a 3.3, but that's because my freshmen semester I did really bad. My gpa after that was a 3.5 my freshmen and sophomore year and 3.98 my junior and senior year....so I dunno.

UNLV seems like a great school though, I like how it's the only law school in the state and its dispute resolution program  seems to be top notch.
