No, most of the schools I looked at (and the school I attend) equalizes each section to try and establish a normalized curve so that the top 10% of the student body don't kill each other on the curve in a stacked section.

You know, it wasn't so bad having everything hanging on the final. I always hated the "busy work" of undergrad. All the pop-quizzes and homework just bothered me. So, for me, having one big final is awesome. I've always done well on big tests, like SAT, LSAT, etc.. So it suits me well.
Overall I really like the school. I am fortunate enough to be here on scholarship, and that really factored into my choice. Also, I don't plan on leaving San Diego, so I am able to use the networking opportunities through the school better. Of course, I've known more than a few people here who have gotten jobs out of state, in Louisiana, Nevada, and Florida (from my group o' friends.)
The career services office here is really good. They're really good about informing students about what they need to do, and have a really good open door policy. They bring a lot of employers on campus during both fall and spring. I've found my jobs through career services. I think overall the administration is a lot more accessible here than at the other schools I checked out.
