Let me start by saying that I hate logic games with a fiery passion.  They are the source of my nervousness with regards to the LSAT.

I am signed up for the June test, and my scores on the logic games are basically what have determined my grades on the practice tests.  When I do well on the logic games, I score in the low- to mid-160's.  When I bomb the logic games section, I score only in the mid- to high-150's.

Now I'm not looking for anything miraculous.  I would be content with even a 160 on the real thing (though I'd obviously love to get a 165, which is my top practice score so far, and I am very afraid of getting a 154, which is my lowest).

Anyways, what is the best approach for me with the 5 weeks I have left to study?  I have been taking practice tests and doing practice problems for each section, but simply doing the practice logic games over and over does not help if I cannot learn some sort of method.  I have the LG bible.  Should I just start studying that and try to go through the whole thing?  I'm sort of clueless about the LG section of the test.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Oh wait, am I going to be banned again for that last post?

Last time I restated information about an individual that he/she had already made readily available in an open forum on several occasions, I was issued a 48hr tempban  :o

I guess we'll have to see...

Dang I want to start being more active in my search but I also have waitlists and I don't want to be financially committed to a place if I get in. On the other side, you snooze you lose in terms of quality housing. It's a delicate balance.

Haha, so "THE Ohio State University Troll" is hoping to get into somewhere other than OSU?

Interesting...

General Off-Topic Board / Re: Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz: Why?

Does anyone else find it really creepy that Wally think's so highly of Pete Wentz?  Wentz is like the biggest he/she tool in the world.

Don't think so?  Check out this link: http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/2006/05/pete-wentz-is-has-tool.html

Ashlee Simpson is fairly attractive...Pete Wentz is a waste of life.  When I saw the thread title, I thought for sure Wally was going to be arguing that Ashlee was too good for Pete.  To learn that it is just the opposite is--like I said--creepy.

Ah, okay.

Evidently I'm on the outside of this inside joke.  ???

Inside joke?  We both have like 20 posts, we got here yesterday, we've never even met before.

Oh, okay.

I guess I just don't get the joke.  :'(

I got a call from the Ohio State dean yesterday congratulating me on my acceptance. I am very excited but my top two choices still have me on the waitlist. A friend of mine who I consider a mentor has urged me to contact Emory and Vanderbilt to let them know of my acceptance and to re-iterate my interest in attending their school.

Is this a good idea????

Get a new mentor.

(just kidding...kind of) ;)
