Let me ask you another question.

What is the best pizza chain?

Round table.

Their pizza is delicious and when it makes it argument it attacks your points like an respectful human being, not your logic like a feminine hygiene product.

Okay, swear filter off.  Now once again.... what?

There's really a lot of conflation going on in this thread. It kind of makes my head hurt.

Seriously. Can we get back to the task at hand: burritos?

Elroy, how do you keep reducing your number of posts?

Cafe Rio has the best burritos in my state.  It's really sad that most people out there can't experience the mouth-gasm that restaraunt produces.

When does life begin?  Do un-born children deserve protection?

Let me ask you a question Mr. Rock

What percentage of an Ad-Coms decision should be based on undergrad GPA?

You do have a good point.  Complaining about the system on Law school discussion won't help my situation.  Just remember that I can focus on becoming the kind of lawyer I want to be at the same time as I complain about the system with strangers on a website.

Thanks Dr. Phil.
Maybe I'll wait a year and apply to law school again.  Then my personal statement can read, "See GPA and LSAT score, that's really all you need to know.  I would tell you why I'm a better candidate than my GPA suggests, but i'm too busy focusing on self improvement."

Hmmn.. Yes yes I have low self esteem because of my B+ average and I'm trying to hide it with fautly logic! What should I say instead?   How about, I'm still going to be a kick-a$$ lawyer even though I didn't get into a T1 school.

One good reason why Undergrad GPA doesn't predict Law GPA is because while everyone who goes to harvard has a high undergrad GPA, they don't all have a high law GPA because of the nature of law school.
It's probable that if a 3.0 student went to harvard they would suck, but I doubt there is a strong correlation if you were just comparing undergrad 3.8 students and 4.0 students.

Everyone loves to say that ad-coms use LSAT and GPA because ALL STUDENTS HAVE THEM.
I didn't every say that ad-coms shouldn't use those factors, and I never said that I deserve to go to a better school.
My point is that you won't be a better lawyer than me just because you had a higher undergrad GPA.
