I don't really know much about Akron.  From all the research I've done it seems like Kansas would be a much better fit, but I'm wondering if I need to visit both places.
The decision is kind of premature, because I still haven't heard from 5 schools.

I was lucky to be accepted to the University of Kansas.  I know there can be a major difference in starting salary between a T1 and T2 school, but do you think there is much of a difference between a T2 and T3?

You are above their LSAT 75% line, so I don't see what's wrong with asking them to at least get rid of some of the conditions of the scholarship.

It's worth asking, you have nothing to lose.

That's true. I guess I'll give it a shot.

I feel like KU and Lawrence will both me a lot better for my family, but I'm just thinking if I want to move back to Utah then it may be better to stay out of debt.  Either way, it doesn't really matter how smart you are, there is still some luck involved in being in the top 10% of the class.

Okay I fixed it. Thanks.

I don't know.  To be honest, I feel like I'm pretty lucky to get a full-tuition offer with a 159  3.3.   I'd be happy to bargain with them, but I don't have much ammo. :)

I have to get in the top half of my class in the fall to keep it for spring.

I got accepted to Akron with a full-tuition scholarship.  They said I'd have to maintain a 3.3 (supposedly in the top 10% of the class)   Do any of you have any insight on how hard that would be?

I totally ruled Akron out, but they offered a full-tuition scholarship on friday.  I've heard some great thing about Akron, but I still think Kansas is a much better school.    The Akron scholarship is really tough to hold onto: I have to stay in the top half of my class the first semeseter, and maintain a 3.3 (top 10% of the class) for the rest of the first year, and years 2 and 3.  Any advice?

I totally ruled-out Akron, but now they are offering a full-tuition scholarship.  I've heard a lot of good things about the school, but I still think KU is much better.  Any thoughts?

According to Akron, they only have a 10% renewal rate on their full-tuition scholarships. That sucks.
