At the firm I work you have to have worked with the firm for 5 years, you have to have met your billable requirements for those 5 years (associates bill 1950 hrs/yr, and you have to be voted in by the BOD.

Absolutely, everyone wants to be a day student, allowing them flexibility may give you a better chance!

Choosing the Right Law School / Widener or Duquesne?

I have to make a decision by May 24th... I was accepted to the part time program at both Duquesne and Widener Wilmington Campus.  Essentially I want to practice in eastern PA.  What is the better school?

Choosing the Right Law School / Soooo Confused...

I have been accepted to Duquesne's PT program and am guaranteed a job at the Pittsburgh office for the firm I work for, but I have been waitlisted at Widener... I am not sure what to do, do I remain on Widener's waitlist?  What do you think is the better school?  I realize that these are not the greatest of options, but for personal reasons I have to remain within driving distance of my home.  I do want to practice in PA upon graduation, any advice would be great!

With regards to LOCI, is it ok to send them when you have not heard anything from a school for a substantial amount of time, ie., 6 months?

Choosing the Right Law School / Should I send a LOCI?

I have been complete for 6 months at a school and have heard nothing.  I now that you should send a LOCI if you have been waitlisted or deferred, but in this case does anyone see anything wrong with sending one now?
