but my husband also needs attention!

haha, so true!  Encourage him to make friends at his new job, or join a pick-up sports team or something.  When my husband and I moved so that I could go to grad school, that was our biggest problem.  I made friends at school and was busy with work, and he was working from home and didn't have any sort of social group (and he is way more social than I am).  That sort of isolation can lead to a mild funk can lead to depression = you're both unhappy.  Then he joined an MMA gym and made friends and now it's great.  If you're religious, get involved in a church/synogogue/mosque whatever, or join a gym, or something so that he can meet a wide variety of people.  Oh, and make sure you make time for exercise!  That's probably the biggest thing I've learned from grad school.  It really helps to deal with stress.

I hope we haven't seen the end of bulk acceptances -- I haven't seen any bulk action from either IU school.

I saw, PM me as much as you want!  It makes me feel special.  Ok, that's sad.  But true.   ::)

4) Does anyone want to join me in starting our own law school if we don't get in  to our #1 choices? I have a pretty nice couch, a whole bunch of brochures from Cooley, and a nintendo Wii... what else do we need?

I have a doctoral degree.  Can I teach?  I can't really teach anything about the law, but you can use my pretty diplomas to lend credibility to the venture (or as dartboards).  I think we should develop our own rankings system, too.

You had to show me up, didn't you?!?!  Man!  What's your PhD in?

I'm in. I have a projector and a screen with a pretty nice sound system and I could start collecting all my brochures from Albany, Quinnipiac, etc. I think we should do way with 'deans' as well. You can be the Head Glorious Honcho Leader and I'll be a Glorious Honcho Leader. We have to make sure we follow in the footsteps of the American Justice School of Law and put our library in an old candy factory. Except, it won't be an old one, it will be a currently operating one.

Sign me up!  I wanna be a professor!  I could probably pilfer some office supplies from my parents' office, and I've been thinking of purchasing Legally Blond, which we could just play on the projector in lieu of classes.

THE WAITING IS KILLING ME!!!!  I just had to vent that.

srsly... my mailbox was empty today. come on!!

Dude! Mine too! I really think the mailman skips some days, especially when it is beautiful out.

We are tucked away a little off the beaten path, and I know our mailman skips some days (like, when I put a bill out at 8:00 am to be picked up and it's still there the next day!).

We haven't unpacked half our stuff b/c our place is too small.  It's all still in the original packaging very creatively arranged in an overflowing closet, waiting for the day when it can be free.
