Thanks LatinLord!

MWP, I did UG at Boston U. Congrats on the call!  I'm glad they finally posted orientation stuff.

That's cool.  I actually graduated North Central in '99.

Anthem has a pretty decent plan (at least in Indiana).  The Indiana University system has good insurance for grad students, with no co-pay when you use the student health center.  UGA was the same way.

hey, me too! which high school did you attend?

I love tall women who wear heels. It's so glamazon. I'm 5'2 or 5'3 so I will never get to experience this! I definately don't think 4" is too much. That's a fairly standard stilletto height. I know a lot of professional women who wear 4"+, since obviously it's a trend in footwear for the past season or two to have towering heels and big platforms. That said, for a conservative law firm, I probably wouldn't go over 4", but I think this is a perfectly appropriate height.

My cousin is 6'3" and she wore 3" heels for my  wedding -- they were hot pink.  It was awesome.

I don't know about Banana Republic, but I love J. Crew's cut and quality (and sale prices!).

I'm with Siski -- I am frantically trying to finish a thesis so I can defend it by the deadline and graduate (otherwise these last three years will have been worthless).  After that I am looking forward to a full month of long days with nothing pressing to do.

I wish you could select more than one! Primarily, I find the law interesting, but it will provide more employment opportunities than would my B.A. or M.S., and at a higher salary.  I wouldn't necessarily say I'm in it for a six-figure income, although now a six-figure income just won't get you as far as it used to, so I guess if I want to be able to afford things like daycare and a college education for my (future, unborn) children, I guess I'm in it for that, too!

No, actually I was being serious. TimMitchell seems to have a pretty big fan club.

TimMitchell: best of luck on Yale! I hope I see you listed under YAle on the Class of 2012 thread!
