Hello guys, I went to the GSU admitted students reception last night. It was nice, I got to meet some professors, faculty, students, and alumni. It seemed like the reception was geared toward people who hadn't made up their minds about where to go, but were accepted to GSU. It was like a sales pitch! lol. But it was nice, they had food/drinks. they also said for admitted students they will be putting us in class sections and sending out schedules the end of April.

Has03, I heard that they were waiting on the feb LSAT scores to throw in the batch with the other applicants. Then they will go through and start admitting again. A 1L I know from there told me that thats how they admit. She didnt get admitted til April and she called last year and thats what they told her.

hey guys, I believe if you move here permanently, which means license change, taxes, and voter registration, it is one year from that point. because they will ask for these documents when you go to prove you are a resident.

Hey connelley, how are you? So are you 100% on GSU or still waiting on more decisions? I sent my deposit in the other day, figured I may as well. UGA is too far and Emory is too much$ so either way I'm at GSU.

PennyLane, well thats a hard question that only you can answer.Everybody chooses a law school thats good for them. Even if I get into UGA I'll go to GSU because I'm not in a position to move to Athens and I don't want to commute. It also depends on what type of law you want to practice, does the tier matter if you want to be a public attorney, probably not. These are all questions that you have to answer on your own.
