The T14 is a joke. Who came up with "14" anyway. It is stupid and idiotic. The only schools that matter are Harvard, Stanford and Yale...maybe Georgetown. Other than that everyone on the "outside" thinks every school is good. People don't understand or even care about the "T14" "Top 25" or any other T something or other. Just the schools themselves and the retarded students who care so much about rankings.

Acceptances / Re: Santa Clara vs Pepperdine vs BYU

Thanks for all the ideas/input. COL is a major factor in the decision. Santa Clara and Pepperdine would be similar and then there is Provo which compared to California is obviously ridiculously inexpensive. Since I wanna end up in Cali I am leaning to Santa Clara/Pepperdine but I think from BYU I would be able to make it back to California.

I will be going down next week to visit campus and I am excited for that. I have actually been there before but never as a tour of the entire campus nor the law school. The major question I have is about employment summers/upon graduating. Where have some of your classmates worked? About how many students get OCI's? Do you know of any students who have gone on to work in northern california? How has the career services offices helped you to find employment? Thanks for answering.

I'm also tryin to decide if pepperdine will be worth it. I have a full ride there and I'm still not sure. I definitley would love to live there and I know the school will be good, but the job opportunities on the way out make me nervous enough to think about it a couple times before committing to them and I have a full scholarship. I don't know how kids will go there paying full tuition. Crazy! No offense to anybody that is.

I will basically be able to go to all of these schools for free. I just have to decide what school would be the best for career prospects. I want to eventually end up in Cali. I have family near all of these schools and I wouldn't mind living in any of their locations.

Tell me what you know about how hard it is to be in the top 20% of any of these schools.

Tell me about the professors and the students at these schools.

Tell me how much students study at these schools.

Tell me where you would go.

Keep in mind they are all free so price doesn't matter except for the fact that california has a much higher cost of living compared to Utah. Thanks for all the input.

Black Law Student Discussion Board / Re: SEO Corporate Law Internship

I haven't been accepted yet. I still haven't decided where I will go to school though. How was the phone interview? At your first interview did you have any sense of whether or not you would get accepted into the program?

My interview is this Thursday and I am getting a little excited/nervous. I am flying out to SF. Is there anyone else who has or will be interviewing in SF? What are the case studies about? After scheduling the interview they say for "interview tips" that the only way to prepare for the case is to "practice, practice, practice" but then they don't give any examples of what the cases are like. They say just go research on the internet. It's kind of vague. Anyways, oh..I have another question. Do you think SEO will discriminate if I get into a top 10 but choose to go to a top 25 instead because of price?
