I just stumbled upon this site and don't know what to make of it. Anyone know if their outlines are legit, and if they're worth the price? Also, do law schools ban using such online-purchasable outlines? I think it might be a good idea to study from them over the summer before 1L, but I don't want to find out later that usage is banned or something at my law school.

I got into UHouston where according to the ABA site there are no students of my ethnicity (Puerto Rican). Part of me says, I'll feel completely isolated without any type of student associations or just general students there like me. On the other hand, it would be an amazing trailblazing opportunity and a completely different environment for me. Should this factor into my decision of which school to attend at all? Thoughts?

It's almost April, I submitted my application to UCLA in October, yet I have heard nothing (at all) back. I called them in February and they said I was complete, but why haven't they at least sent me this in writing i.e. email or snail mail? If I hadn't called them myself I would be completely in the dark for like 6 months. This is completely ridiculous, good thing I'm banking on BC Law. Anyone wanna share in the misery of waiting TOO long for a school to respond?

Is it common for schools to not notify you about financial aid offers until AFTER you enroll in their school?? I just called UHouston and they told me I have to enroll before I get my financial aid notification. Why would any university ask students to enroll in their school before they even know if they can afford to go?? Don't they realize the immense importance of financial aid in deciding where students choose to enroll?? Hearing this almost feels like my admission there has been rescinded...

I'm still kind of deciding--haven't heard back from some other schools and haven't heard back about financial aid. But it would be GREAT to go. Anyone in a similar situation?

Did anyone else get this letter saying that their acceptance is "conditional and will be lifted upon receipt of official documents regarding the outcome of the incident(s) disclosed in the application"?
I never disclosed anything of this nature in my application, so I have no idea what documents they're talking about. Is this something they send to everyone?? 19

I got an e-mail over a month and a half ago stating my application was currently "under review". If it has taken this long to reach any sort of decision am I likely to be deferred?

The law school I was recently accepted to asks for a certified transcript but I'm not entirely sure how to obtain one. Is a certified transcript simply an official transcript that indicates the degree has been awarded?
