I would say St. Thomas. An up and coming school. It is well respected by lawyers in the twin cities area.

I meant transfer after the first year to a different school. So does that mean many people do not transfer after their first year? 4

I currently heard from a school that put me on a waitlist that I was admitted into their part-time program. Right now I am admitted at two Tier 4 schools, and this school is a Tier 3. After the first year I am able to become fulltime or stay part-time. Is this a risk, or should I see it as a great opportunity?
Also, if I wanted to transfer after the first year would a part-time program make it more difficult? Anyone with any experience or advice please post. Thanks! 7

I just applied to FIU and I am very excited to learn more about the school- anything you have to offer is great. I can only gather info from their website and don't know much about it since I am from the midwest. I was wondering what your numbers were to get a hold- you can message me if you want. Just to see if I will be held as well, you don't have to but it may give me piece of mind.
I am in the same situation with deposits and waitlists. What would you exactly say that isn't too pushy to a school when talking about deposits and waiting? 9

I have only heard positive things about Hamline around the Cities. Sure people on this board will knock it because it is a 4th tier school, but they are usually so high off their own ego that they don't know any better.
I know many lawyers from Hamline and they all hold top positions where they work. Whether it is a medium sized law firm or a national bank. 10
