i applied to a bunch of oil companies as well. I was a petroleum supply specialist and a petroleum labratory tech in the army. I spent a year in iraq and im in the top 20 percent of the class. Im not saying that ill def get one of the 50 jobs i applied for but i highly doubt that its out of the picture.

i thought about doing that but with the big emphasis frims seem to place on grades it didnt make to much sense. In hindsight i prob should have followed the crowd. I guess we shall see in the next two months how it turns out. Ill be sure to post all my rejections and acceptances on the board.

i waited for grades to come out. We have our oci next week so i dont see how i could have waited to long if i sent out my resumes two and a half weeks befor oci.

well i got my first rejection from a firm today. It was hughes and luce in dallas. the form letter was ok.
