ive been here a year.  Last year in section 3 i had mccall, richter, swank and coyne

13
i was in section 3 and i thought it was by far the best section last year. The problem is that they switched around all the professors and u r all new students so it will be luck of the draw.  r u already living in norman?

If its the same as last year u dont get to pick your section. they just assign u to one. just in case ill tell u what i think though.

Mccall has by far been my best professor in law school. THe sections were different last year so i didnt have the others.

Robertson is also a great professor. I have him for fed indian law which is his specialty. Swank is like a wise grandpa which is nice but he is a pretty tough grader. His class also starts to get pretty dry in the second semester. If u end up in that section let me know. their is a script from previous classes that floats around the law school.

So where do u all think the best places to work would be? I dont reall want to work in a huge city so no LA, NYC or Chicago.

I was thinking Dallas, pheonix, Okc, Tucson, Denver.

What do u all think?

Current Law Students / Re: increase in median GPA ?
« on: June 17, 2007, 05:42:44 PM »
I was wondering the same thing. My gpa dropped from an 8.43 to a 8.25 this semester. Now my overall GPA is an 8.33 overall. I was 32 in the class. If i drop past 38 I dont get an automatic bid onto a secondary law review that i want to work for and ill have to do the whole write on thing. Im hoping the average gpa stays about the same so that I wont drop much. I guess ill find out on friday.
