Will lots of time spent working help? I spent 13 years in another career before finishing up my last two years of undergrad. I worked one full time job and one part time job during the "finishing" process. I'm in! Plan to be a public defender first (helloooooo, LRAP), and hopefully graduate to doing death penalty appeals.
There's nothing wrong with BigLaw as long as you know what you are getting into, but it is just not for me. I don't work well miserable, and as long as I can the bills on a very minimal expense lifestyle I am fine.
Nice to see so many people who want to do something that is meaningful to them.

Glad to see it is not just me. I sent everything in November. Just had my dean resend the cert. in case that was the holdup. Status checker still set to "When you submit the rest of your materials, you will be complete."
It is at least a relief to know that my app is not so out of the question that they are ignoring it.
