I'm flying, into Philly though b/c its close to my bfs family. We got a rental car for a few days though for about $90. Try hotwire... otherwise go to each car rental's individual site and look at their specials. I think we got a 1/2 price on budget's website for an upgraded car... may be cheaper than a cab!

I live in Texas and actually applied to both Temple and Baylor... havent heard from Temple, and was accepted to Spring 2009 for Baylor. Congrats on the scholarships! Thats awesome.
From what I hear, doing my research... In Texas, Baylor probably ranks 3rd or 4th. It is located in Waco, which is a pretty small town located 2 hours from Dallas or Austin. From what I hear, the campus is very "advanced" and has the most up-to-date technology in Texas. The class size is very small. Baylor is known for its practical adversary approach. I've heard that law school is like a "boot camp" but that many graduates are much more prepared upon graduation than other law school graduates (in the courtroom, anyways). My biggest problem with Baylor, would be the location. I dont see there being many networking/clerking opportunities in that area. I've heard if you want to work in Dallas, SMU is best bet. Houston... UofH. And obviously, UT is above either of those. So I'm not sure sure where Baylor fits in on finding a good job. Admissions employees were very nice during the Houston forum. Temple is in Philly, huge location difference. I hear the campus is nice, but be careful when leaving the campus due to the location. Obviously, weather is vastly different. I hear if you go to Temple, plan to work in Philly... or if you're at the top of the class you can travel out of that area relatively easy. Dont know much else about Temple... I realize these answers will be personal preference, but for those who have visited many law schools in Texas, what was/were your favorite campus(es)? I had a friend tell me Baylor's was nicest/most technologically advanced, but SMU was her favorite. This was a suprise to me. I'm mainly wondering about Houston v. Baylor v. SMU... but feel free to throw in Tech, STCL, UT, or any others...

Wait List / Waitlisted at Rutgers Camden« on: March 17, 2008, 09:00:27 AM »
I received a letter saying I was put on the waitlist for Rutgers Camden and if I want to remain on the waitlist I should call this 1-800 number and let them know the latest date I could attend the school and the latest date I'd "wait around" for a decision. It said many times they will notify you 3-10 days before the first day of class and you must be prepared for that. That blows.
If I don't write back AT ALL, I should be automatically removed from waitlist right? It just said to call if I want to remain on the list... Or should i mail in a "thanks but no thanks" letter? 37

Ok what about if I applied mid January and my status has said "file complete - LSSAS report received" since mid-January!? 2 months later... not even "in review"? Annoying...

Are the both of you that are currently attending the school originally from PA? What are your views of Temple? Job prospects in areas other than centra PA?
