Oh my god, TSN is absolutely ridiculous right now. I can barely stand to look at it.

Blueskies: My room is freezing right now. It's 20-something degrees outside, and low-50s in here tops. I'll have less on when my girlfriend gets back from High School Musical 3. Yes, I'm dating a fifteen year old. 46

General Off-Topic Board / Has anyone done a State Department internship?« on: October 23, 2008, 10:28:26 PM »
I've been looking over the options for a while, and it seems like something I might like to do. They do some internships in cooperation with Georgetown (one of the places I'm potentially interested in attending for LS), and I think I would be able to land some of the scholarships they give out. I plan on going into the international relations/international law/whatever field (preferably within the State Department), so this would probably be useful experience.
So has anyone done one of these? Thoughts, opinions, etc? Just to clarify, I would not be travelling abroad, but working in DC. 48

Below 168: Punch myself in the face until I break my nose, and listen to the first HAYMAKER LP on Deranged Records, or maybe Damnation AD - No More Dreams of Happy Endings LP. I probably wouldn't call my parents or friends and tell them what I got for a long time.
168 - 169: Begrudgingly accept my score, and strongly consider retaking in June. Probably call my close family, best friend and girlfriend, and tell them what I got, and that I'm kind of disappointed. Listen to the One AM Radio - This Too Will Pass 2xLP. 170 - 172: Be generally excited about my score, and minimally consider retaking come June. I would probably throw on Lifetime - Self-Titled LP or maybe Jersey's Best Dancers. 173+: Flip out, and run down the hallway screaming "I'M GOING TO f-ing HARVARD!!!" or something. I would listen to the Cap'n Jazz LP as loud as I could take. 50

Are peoply seriously talking about Louisville not having music? Ridiculous. Band was a hotbed in the late-80s, mid-90s, and early-00s. Still plenty of bands kicking around there.
I would never pay money to see GirlTalk. I saw him for free once and was bored out of my skull. |
