When did you hear from Hastings? Numbers???
<3 A desperate California Girl!

Very interesting comments; thank you to everyone who has responded so far. Quick question; I have heard the over-saturated markets being mentioned as Chicago, NYC, D.C., so what do you guys think are some of the best up-and-coming markets with good schools nearby?

Bay Area/Silicon Valley- Huge market, esp. for IP. Grads from Santa Clara and other regional schools are getting great jobs.

It was weird to hear back so fast... UC's usually take a bit longer. I have my fingers crossed for Davis and Hastings.

Rat... You'll get in to McGeorge for sure. I got my acceptance 3.5, 163 and $15K. I wouldn't stress.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Boston U vs UC Davis or Hastings

As far as UCD v. Hastings... I think your best bet is Davis. They are regarded as highly as Hastings and your quality of life will be much greater. Davis students actually LIKE law school.... Shocking. Everyone is really supportive and wants you to do well. Also, if you are getting in to BU you should be able to get a scholarship at Davis making it MUCH more resonably priced.

I got really good money from them. 24k/year. I have never been to Flordia though. Maybe planning a trip out to Miami to visit. I don't know much about the school. Anyone want to give me some reasons to go here/not go here?
