At the NYU fair you can always go to the agency tables and bring them your resume and talk them maybe into giving you an interview or tell them how much you are interested in the position. I heard that many people do get internships offers at the tables!!!

Thanks..guys, I think I'm going to send the acceptance e-mail tomorrow. They seemed very eager to accept me since they offered me the position during the interview, and I don't want to make them wait for too long. I guess I should consider myself lucky since I am a 1L and was able to compete with other 2L's that applied.

I am interested in Public Interest so the majority of the internships I applied to were public interest internships. I just got offered a position for the summer with the legal aid society in Manhattan. I only have until next week to let them know if I am interested or not. I haven't heard from any other internships but its still pretty Earlie. Should I accept the LAS position, or should I loose it,, and take my chances to see what else I can get?

Incoming 1Ls / Re: Gradplus

I have most of my tuition covered by stanford loans, therefore it is unnecessary for me to get a Gradplus. However, I have many expenses which I have outside of my school budget which I will have to take care of. Does anyone know if I happen to get a GradPlus loan for about $20,000 to take care of expenses I expect to have not covered by the school budget, will it affect my finacial aid (stanford loans).
