I went to the Kaplan test site review center, and the one I am signed up for has consistently bad reviews (I should have signed up earlier).  Anyway, I don't want to be an a-hole about it, but this is my damn LSAT we're talking about here (you know, that 80% of my admissions?).  The reviews say the proctors are not very professional, and use an analog clock, and also cut off people a couple minutes too early.  This makes a difference.  I'm sure there are other people who might encounter the same thing.  How can I suggest beforehand that a proctor use a digital clock that I hand them, or make sure no interruptions are allowed?  The reviews consistently say that the proctors were not given the proper training, and did not seem to care.  What should I say beforehand?

Discounting non-resident status.

Discounting the non-resident status [i.e. compare for example, an applicant from New England to an applicant from the Midwest].  Is there a noticable difference?

I'm interested in international law.  Would this make it stand out as a candidate?  What other areas of law are people selling themselves with?

You could take it at any time, although I don't know how they would deal with the scratch paper issue (maybe just give you a few sheets?)  Also, I hate working with computer screens.  I love the feel of working it out on paper.
