Should I forgo large amount of scholarship money from Pace (Tier 3) to go to Seton Hall? I really like Seton and want to get a dual degree that Pace doesn't offer. But I have trouble coming to terms with being in that much debt. Any thoughts? I'm driving myself crazy.

Save your trash for your classmates...I'm sure wherever you're going they'll appreciate it. Oh and the only reason the UN was pulled into this coversation was because I wasn't sure if you geniuses would understand what an IO was. So I'm guessing that the both of you are 3L and know everything about the job market right? And have practiced law overseas? I'll make sure to trust your opinion. I thought these boards were meant to support each other and discuss things in somewhat of a civil manner...I mean you do want to be a lawyer right?

I know that I'm not an expert on what law schools are best, but I think a lot of it has to do with what your career goal is. I'm going to a tier 3 (Pace) because they have the best human rights law program I could find and get into. I want to work for an NGO or IO, like the UN, doing more policy and research-related work. So I don't think it will matter as much what tier I came from. I say try your best to be in the top of the class and be involved and it won't matter what "ranking" you come from.

Hi again all. I'm still trying to decide finally between Pace and Pacific McGeorge. I like Pace's program more than Pacific McGeorge but the other issues to be considered are making me indecisive. The contact that I have had with Pace's admission office have been horrible. I get no return phone calls or emails, and the secretary was down right rude to me this morning. This really freaks me out because I went to an undergrad for three years that was all red-tape and I do not want to do that for another three years, especially in something so important as law school. On the other hand, the people at Pacific have been overly accomodating and very nice. Living in Sacramento sounds so much better than White Plains, New York. Pacific is a Tier 1 and Pace is a Tier 3. Pace has the opportunity to intern at the Hague, but Pacific has also sent students there in the past. I'm just really frustrated with Pace right now and need to hear other people's opinions. I really would like some input! Thank you!!
