I love Contracts, but I have an amazing professor. Here's to you, James Gordley!

I broke it up more. I did mine in about 4 days. I think all together they estimate that it will take 9 hours or so.

"Acing Civil Procedure" is awesome when used in conjunction with the Glannon supplements.

I don't think it is too late for LEEWS at all. He gives a live program in NYC every year during the first week in December. He admits on the CDs that it will be more difficult to start it late, but they have advice for what to do if it is "late in the game". I say go for it. Even a little bit will help.

Current Law Students / Re: 1L's- Sound off as we head into November

Who thinks that 1L is the nightmare that some on this board made it out to be?

Not at all. I think a lot of law students are just drama queens that like to make their lives out to be soooo stressful. I worked 50 hours a week and went to school full time in UG, though, so I'm used to some pressure and stress.

Who's about ready to throw their Blue Book at a passing motorist and try to see how the ensuing pileup applies the Cordozo test?

Ugh, I do hate that Blue Book.

Who wishes that the one girl in class (you know which one- there's always one) would just pick one day of the week to not participate?

One girl? Try 4 or 5.

Who's still briefing every case?

I stopped about the beginning of Sept. Now I just write a few lines about the facts and the rule to jog my memry.

Who just wants to get a d**mn grade already?

I say that now... we'll see, come January.

Who longs for the days of undergrad, where 20 page papers were miraculously written in two hour blitzes?

I would kill for a term paper right now.

Most importantly...

Who still thinks they made the right choice in coming to law school?

Without a doubt. I love it.

Hey, I found the GPA vs. percentile rank for Tulane. I stumbled across this on the "Students and Graduates" board.

Well, the word on the street is that two of the Crim professors have graded their exams and turned them in. The other one (who shall remain nameless) hasn't even graded his/hers. So after all of them are graded, then they still have to be compared between the sections and then the grades have to be adjusted if there are any significant differences between the sections. Sucks, huh?

Sucks a lot, I told my future employer that my GPA would be in "any day" - lol.

Yeah, I've got to contact my prospective employers about grades as well. The "any day" approach might be a good one to take. :)
