Been "in review" since 2/18-2/19. Applied at the end of December went complete in the middle of January.  In-state, UofH UG, pretty sure I am still an auto reject but its killing me that it is taking so long.

I was wondering if there is a certain protocol when it comes to sending in a deposit to another school.  If I get in somewhere that I would rather go to do I have to withdraw from the school that I just sent the deposit to before I can send in a deposit to another school?

Also what is the proper way to withdraw from the school?  (It may not be something I have to do but fingers crossed it will be).  Is the withdrawl done through email or snail?

So I just had to pay a seat deposit even though I still have six schools to hear back from (plus a waitlist and a deferral).  LAME!!!  I dont really have anything informative to add I just felt the need to vent to people that understand how much this blows.  Hopefully it will end up being a waste of money.

yeah allison,

we have virtually the same numbers.  which school did you call?  how did the whole thing work out?  feel free to PM me the details.  would love to know more.

PM me the details too, i'm considering doing this.

Me too. I'm coming up on deadlines on April 14th and 15th.

PM me too.  Deadline april 1st. Thanks

Law School Admissions / Anyone else getting really tired of waiting?

I sent in all my apps in December and went complete at most places by early January.  I have one acceptance, one waitlist, one deferral, a few rejections, and I am still waiting to hear back from about 5 schools.  The last thing I heard was 2 weeks ago which was my defferal (it was nice to get a break from the rejections) but since then I havent heard anything.  I know whatever else happens i'll still be going to law school in the fall but all this waiting is driving me crazy.  I thought getting an acceptance early in my cycle would make things easier but I think it made it worse.  And to make matters worse most of the schools that I am waiting on are the schools that I really want to go to.  I really think I might go crazy soon...

I got an email yesterday from UofH about my financial aid status.  After logging into my UofH account (I am a former student) and it said that I need to send in a copy of my selective service registration and also a copy of my acceptance letter.  The problem is that I have not been accepted and my file is still in review.  I thought that financial aid was determined during the review of the application.  This seems like a rather strange way of doing things.  I was just wondering if this is a normal way of doing things???  At the school I have been accepted to my financial aid letter didnt arrive until 4-5 weeks after I had been accepted.

To early to send one?  Also does it help to send one if you have been deferred?

Called LSAC again, they said its the schools problem and that the school has to contact LSAC because according to LSAC records all 3 LORs were sent to the school.
