Hmm, a waitlist doesn't make much sense when they could defer you to apply again and make more money from the app fee and judge your second sem grades. I'm in the Philly area so maybe I'll get a letter, but if not by Friday I don't think I'll be getting it for a long time. What were your stats (if got decision)?

how do they make more money by deferring you? I got deferred and all I have to do is fax in my 2nd semester grades, you don't reapply.

When people switch to decision they will either be accepted, wait listed, or rejected (however this is very unlikely).

I'm not sure about the unlikeliness of (at least some) rejections.  I would say I am a pretty strong candidate for rejection. Maybe they sent out a mixed bag!

Decision.  Top 10% at a T4.  I know those aren't great stats...hopefully I do not scare you guys too much.

First, to those who have gotten emails, stay strong through finals no matter what.  If you're thinking of transferring, you must be doing well, so keep it up.

Second, I don't mean to pry, but is it a denial or deferral?

Denial.  top 8%, T4.

The admissions office said they are looking at sending out the decisions next week. (no bs this time)

yeah, they told me that, too...

We will just have to wait and see, but from the looks of the posts here and on yahoo it seems to be on par so far, maybe it will be different for RD applicants.

Shouldn't you be preparing for finals?

I called them today and was told that no one was, nor is going to be, accepted EA (apparently the bar is much higher EA than RD) and that all of our applications had been pushed to RD. We should hear in late June or July. They are going to send out emails in the next couple days with the details, they said something about requiring the transcripts to come from lsac or in electronic form since they are finally going completely green and that all of us who applied EA should get quicker decisions.

If you bought any of that then you are way to stressed about this or give this site way too much credibility. Its time to focus on finals and quit worrying about an admission that, if it even comes, is going to be contingent on an equally strong performance.

You're ridiculous.  Don't be a d*ick.  Also, you are in no position to tell anyone how to manage their time.

I think a great deal less people apply to WUSTL than GULC. Its a great school but the name recognition isn't the same. Another school that does EA that no one is talking about at all is BC.

Yeah, I would really like to get some good news, but if its bad news I don't want to hear until at least next thurs when finals are over.

Jeez, next Thursday already?  My last final is May 18th.
